    Made it with eggplant, cauliflower, pumpkin and peas. Added an onion to the puree. Very yummy! Thank u so much!

    You can skip the sugar but it helps balancing the other ingredients

    Making this today with potato, cauliflower, peas, peppers, carrots, onion, garlic, fresh chillies and sultanas. For spices I used:
    cumin seed, fennel seed, white mustard seed, brown mustard seed. Spice powder mix I used: Turmeric, coriander, asafatida, garam masala.
    I pretty much adhered to the way Manjula cooked her dish and honestly it was delicious!! We are all vegetarian in my house and my sons mates come in by the dozen on curry night…
