Another way to make it without a steamer is to put them in boiling water. 1.prepare hot boiling water 2. (when water starts to bubble) put momo’s in
3. When momo’s comes up to the surface, take out and dry on a paper towel.
4. serve once dry or fry and serve

Why do you try hard with your accent. It makes it really hard to watch an entire video with this kind of accent. Words with your natural accent sound better and clear.

thanks for your reply. Yes I had a lot of water for steaming. I will try applying oil next time. thanks 🙂
Bhavna's KitchenSeptember 24, 2013 at 4:10 am
I hope you had enough water to steam momos and you can apply oil on momos to prevent them getting dry next time.

Hi Bhavna
I tried your recipe. Could you please tell why my momos dried out when i took them out of the steamer and even when i opened the lid of the steamer they were very tough on the top but soft on the bottom.

I do not use micro so not sure but steaming makes momos moisty and good.
Gunjan KushwahaSeptember 24, 2013 at 7:14 am
Hi, I made momos as per your recipe. Because I do not have steamer, I used my microwave idli-maker attachment for steaming by placing 1 momo per idli section. I rolled the dough very thin specially at the sides, so thin that some rolled ones would tear while picking them for filling. The filling cooked perfectly after steaming but the skin remained very tight, especially at the join. I had to shallow-fry them so that we can eat them. Can you tell me what I did wrong?
Bhavna's KitchenSeptember 24, 2013 at 7:15 am
Yes, I already said in video.

You can always make a white sauce and add chicken bouillon or some chicken stock. This would have the same thickening properties as a can of cream of mushroom soup.
MsAnny1998September 24, 2013 at 11:24 am
is there a subtitute for the cream of chicken soup?? I live in India and where i live I’m not sure if we can get that here..
lynnsrecipesSeptember 24, 2013 at 11:54 am

Great job Lynn! Perfect for this busy time of year! I will add some garlic as we’re garlic fiends but otherwise will serve as directed. Thank you!

Cream of chicken soup is a condensed soup we find here in the states in the aisle of the grocery store with all the soups and broths. It think you can make your own, if it isn’t available pretty easily. Just google cream of chicken soup recipes and you will probably find one that is pretty easy.

I just saw this comment. Thanks you. I hope you enjoy it.
