Where in the UK? Lots of shops carry jarred puttenesca sauce, but you didn’t state exactly where in the UK you’re looking for it.

DOES ANYONE KNOW , WHICH SHOPS SELL PUTTANSECA SAUCE IN ENGLAND???
nostaticatallSeptember 24, 2013 at 9:40 am
What is all this nonesense about dried pasta cooking times and the clock on the wall LMAO. The instructions on the package vary from brand to brand and are “ball park.” If you know how to cook at all and want it to be al dente you will check it BEFORE the recommended time. Sheesh, I don’t even look at the clock in my own kitchen most of the time.
philipmariejohnstonSeptember 24, 2013 at 10:14 am
Can I add onions?
Aben RudySeptember 24, 2013 at 10:36 am
Cook the pasta for one minute less than the American package time. It will be al dente and ready to add to the sauce for a bit more cooking.
redflamelcdSeptember 24, 2013 at 11:23 am
therein lies the problem. most packages times are way too long for al dente. usually a few minutes excessive since you will be cooking it further in a sauce.
redflamelcdSeptember 24, 2013 at 12:00 pm
you must not know how to cook.
David JorgensenSeptember 24, 2013 at 12:48 pm
Gosh, you must be very naive.

The clock is not indicative. Follow the package instructions for the cooking time

Anyone watching this video. Wash your hands. I’d be surprised if no one has gotten sick form the contamination he’s added to his spices by putting his hands in them after touching all that meat. Disgusting.

I’m Italian and I’m afraid the “sunday gravy sauce” is something which has barely some regional roots in my country- it seems to be a pure “broccolino” invention.
I never found this recipe here in Italy 🙂

Nowhere in your dumbass book does it mention 7 deadly sins, but there are something like 160 sins mentioned. Judging another person happens to be one of them.

Italian style sausages usually have a slightly coarser texture than a regular British banger. They are also flavoured with fennel, garlic and red wine. The “hot” version of the sausages are also spiked with chilli.
In the UK you can buy the sausages in some supermarkets. Sainsbury’s call the sausages “Sicilian style” sausages and Waitrose call them “Italian recipe” sausages.

I will end up like you (in size) for cooking up such a attractive pasta meat tray there. Occupational hazard right there. Keep up the delicious work.

ytugtbkSeptember 24, 2013 at 11:09 pm
The food may taste great, but the chef is overweight and out-of-breath. Not good.
