    Sorry you feel that way! I consider peanut butter quite healthy – it’s full of protein and good fat and so long as you get an all-natural brand and look at the ingredients label, you can easily find some without added sugar or even without hydrogenated oil. A little bit of jam is just sweetness, it’s true, but no big deal for a child who has no health reasons to avoid sugar. Just be sure to choose a brand made without high fructose corn syrup. Honestly, it’s all the ingredients you choose!

    totally! and if you need to avoid nuts all together, sun butter or another seed butter is also an easy 1 to 1 substitution.
