actually the reason they cracked is because he undermixed the macaron mixture when he was folding it. Folding it 50 times will make sure you dont get any cracks. BTW I tried baking them without and with the time to ‘HARDEN UP’ and they looked and tasted AND felt EXACTLY the same. no difference.

I love all your videos please don’t get me wrong, but I am a little disappointed to see this video. It would of been better if you had perfected your macarons-making skills before filming a tutorial of “how to make it”. Just a little critique from me 😉 but I love your channel regardless !

Aren’t you meant to let it set and rise for a little bit?

I’m surprized how they worked when you didn’t let them dry out before baking. I think you forgot to mention it in the video.

You supposed to let it set after u tap the tray for about 30 minutes and until the tops won’t stick to ur finger

You should’ve let them dry before putting them ino the oven so they won’t break.. 🙂

you didnt let them sit after you made them
when the macaron is almost dry on the touch you can put them in the oven
    they will be even better
and the “ring” is called a “colerette” in french
    LOVE YOUR VIDEOS
