    Thanks Manjulaji. This salad is a must in all South Indian functions. Our way of doing is – we will not stir fry the dal. Soaked dal is mixed either with shredded carrot or finely chopped cucumber. Mix it with grated coconut, chopped cilantro, green chillies, lemon juice and salt. seasoning – oil, mustard seeds and asfoetida and pour over the salad and mix it. The practice is we add salt just before serving to avoid release of water from the salad. Fresh pomagranate seeds can also be added.

    hello i tried this tonight using your gf flour mix. i kneeded it for about 5 minutes and rested it for 30 min. when i rolled out and cooked on skillet it just didnt puff up. it tasted good but just didnt have the texture i was expecting.

    Hello, I am thrilled to find this recipe!!! As a matter of fact my daughter who was diagnosed with Celiac a few months back to jumping for joy. I made your Gulab Jamun recipe and she was so ecstatic that she refused to share and devoured almost everything LOL …… if you could please ask Mangala Aunty if she knows a recipe on how to make the Pav for Pav Bhaji it would be great.
