not soaking doesn’t effect the final outcome of taste and flavor. After all, we’re barbecuing over wood coals. We’ve used wood skewers many times over the years and very seldom we’ve pre-soaked them. Just providing information. Thanks for stopping by. -BBQ Pit Boys

These are fantastic! I substituted Tabasco for the L.sauce but the result was still out of this world. I took just a little less than a Tbsp I forgot what I was dealing with but it actually was not too spicey at all despite all the other spices incl. Really nice marinade! An hour in the fridge was perfect. Thanks guys
