Sounds like a really interesting combination of ingredients. Thanks for sharing your vegetarian version of sticky rice dumpling

I’ll be using mixed red and yellow lentils, mushrooms, all sorts of nuts: lotus seeds, ground nuts and chest nuts. I’m also considering the use of mock meat. I tossed the marinated glutinous rice in a wok before because my marinade just dripped everywhere.
I’ve actually made the Changs and they all turned out great. It’s a low
fat, low sodium version of the real thing so I can eat with less guilt. 🙂
Thanks for the videos. It helps to know someone out there is learning too.

When you make your own, you can add as many ingredients you want. It’s still cheaper than store bought ones. Thanks for your comments and thanks for checking out my video.

I love that you can see both you and your mum in the video. Its so sweet to see you interact. It made me laugh when you were tying the dumpling and she kept correcting you. The dumpling looks delicious though.

That’s why my mom told me to put 2 pieces of Chinese sausage. I like the Chinese sausage that has a bit more fat, which spreads to the rice. Thanks for checking out my video.
