I agree, Sheri, I’ve purchased one cookbook for a kindle, but rarely use it. I prefer making copies from the cookbook to use in the kitchen. That way, I can write in adjustments, substitutions and other cooking notes. THen, if the recipe works, it’s hole punched and put into my binder.

Cara, I’ll have to wait until Wednesday to make the Adonis cake. It calls for silken tofu in the frosting and I don’t have any on hand. I have to drive 70 miles one way to get good tofu and next Tuesday I have a dental appt in the same direction. I’ve got the tofu on my Dallas shopping list and will stock up. Any other recipe requests before I go shopping?

Let me know what you think of it, Courtney. I’m going to take Cara’s request to make the Adonis cake, but first I have to drive 70 miles for silken tofu for the icing. All I have on hand is extra-firm. Thankfully, I have a dental appt in the same direction on Tuesday. I get the silken tofu then.
