    The cider vinegar (instead of rum I presume) will help to add flavour and tenderise the chicken in a similar way. You might not need quite as much of it though.

    I find you can squeeze more juice out if the pieces are smaller… so big limes I cut into 3. But then I have quite small hands! :S
