I am actually laughing at all the negative criticism for this video. Cumin and cilantro are actually great improvements for the taste of guacamole. Besides my neighbor who happens to be an old Mexican dude uses cumin and cilantro in his guacamole lol. It beats having to hunt down chipotle chile for that extra smokiness because cumin actually taste quite well with guacamole.
To each their own I guess.

Sorry But that is not how you make guacamole. Guacamole never has cilantro or garlic or cumin powder. A true authentic guacamole would consist of avacados, onions, tomatoes, salt to taste, lemon(not lime) to taste & jalapeno. And for those wondering whether to use a food processor or a fork to mash it all up? Use a fork. Never in my 15 years of eating mexican food have i come across anyone who would eat their guacamole in a puree form. Guacamole is always meant to be chunky.

What is the substitute for avocados, since in India we don’t get it. Can I use guvava instead. How it tasts like. Sauver?
