i have 2 questions, i really love jamaican flavour of food, so i’m going to try this

question 1, do you have to sear the fish before you put it in the pan? most fish recipes i make u have to sear the fish, otherwise it breaks up when u slow cook it, but i want to know how u made it.

question 2, how would u eat this in jamaica? in my culture it’s normal to eat rice and fish with your fingers (i’m a coolie) especially for eating fish because of the small bones, we would never use a fork

Looks delish! WOuld this work the same way if you used frozen Tilapia filets that you thawed out or is it best with fresh fish?

Missus, your recipe is good to rahtid! But you *cyaan* compete with my own, because I use pumpkin (boiled first) and then also add coconut milk…makes the sauce for the fish rich and creamy, & the pumpkin is DELICIOUS with the fish. Have you tried this? Plus, you don’t care to add okra to your recipe? Okra is lovely with the fish. Thanks for the video, I like!!

I love red snapper. But what can I use to substitute, because it is very expensive around here. What type of fish has a similar taste to snapper
