    It’s very close, you got the concept, all the ingredients…the only thing is the chile is a little milder than cayenne, and we don’t put the elote in the grill–it’s taken strait from the steamer. Still, they are delicious either way!

    I went to Diwali (Indian festival) in Toronto one year and they had huge barrels of boiled corn-on-the-cob. The vendor would pull one out and use a wedge of lemon or lime to dampen the length of it, then sprinkle a curry powder on it. I don’t know if it was straight up curry or cumin or coriander or a mix, but it was BEYOND awesome.
