    Girl, your intentions are OK but the presentation was really crap! Wrong camera angle, cluttered work space, sneezing over the food, a one handed mix. What WAS that? Yugghhh!     My Mom worked for a Doctor ( in 78 and 79), and me and my sister would get scrips for those Black Beauties!! My Friend ( PIG) a NC BIG guy, took 15 Beauties and stayed up 3 days!! hahahah!! There was also a pill called Escotrol ( sp), a time released diet pill!! ( speed)

    Compared to other countries America was very well fed, especially its military. One show I watched claimed that the German P.O.Ws were a bit disappointed not to be getting steak and eggs with their meals, however, in another show claimed that the same POWs were probably better fed then the civilians in the nearby town due to rationing.

    I never knew pep pills were issued during war. From Wiki,…”The pharmaceutical Pervitin was a tablet of 3 mg methamphetamine that was available in Germany from 1938 and widely used in the Wehrmacht”.
    The US, Japan and others had them too. Here I thought a “cup of Joe” (coffee) was it.

    I recall hearing the term black beauty in the 70’s in school. Something chicks were always looking for but now know why, weight loss.
