Thank you so much. I stopped eating gluten last Dec. on advice of a new Dr. and I am on less medication and some I just don’t need anymore for stomach and digestive issues. I am reading Wheat Belly” at the moment. If knew how to make good breads in the bread machine I would be happy. I have been a bread baker a long time (for home). Ethnic Italian cook here, would share recipes in an email, most have no gluten and you wont find them in a restaurant ever.

Hi Larry, Gluten free Bisquick is available right in most regular Supermarkets here in the US. I’ll be uploading a copycat version of GF Bisquick as my next video which should be up within the next few days.
Not to keep you waiting for that, as a replacement for 1 cup of gf bisquick I use:
2/3 cup of white rice flour
1/3 cup of potato starch
1 tsp xanthan gum
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
Hope this helps.

Where the heck can you buy gluten free bisquick?

Make sure to use Babunya’s Gourmet Spice. Found online under Babunya’s. Gluten Free, no MSG, All Natural.

Thanks for your feedback. You are absolutely right. Or at least I strongly suspect that you’re right as I had a nagging feeling as I photographed this one. I wouldn’t usually serve them like that but the newspaper looked so damn good in the photos. I’d usually just plunk it all down on a paper plate but was trying to go for a better look. Parchment would have worked.
Thanks for warning all future readers of the dangers.
Much appreciated my friend.

just have to say you shouldn’t wrap with newspaper. Its actually wrong as the ink comes off on the chips so in the end leaving poison dye all over the chips. Which is why fish and chip shops don’t wrap in newspaper anymore
