Cheers for the vid. Youtube is perfect for this sort of content. My nephew had been bullied. He explained he was going to grow muscle mass. I laughed… Until out of the blue he added 40lbs of pure muscle mass. He tried the Muscle Building Bible – Google it. He doesn’t get bullied nowadays. :)

I was hoping for a corn meal pancake recipe, not a subtle ad for a cook book. Oh well. I am sure I can find the recipe somewhere.

FRIED egg produces proteins that mimic the action of powerful blood pressure-lowering drugs.
The finding comes a few days after a study exploded the myth that they can increase the danger of heart attacks.Fried eggs proved particularly successful at blocking angiotensin, lab-based tests showed, the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry reports. BTW, SESAME OIL also lowers B.P.!

Yep. And then they usually drown them in fake maple syrup made of high fructose corn syrup. But slowly things are changing here and we are becoming more health conscious.

Good recipe, but I noticed you saying that you liked that the pancake was 50% corn because you like to put in an extra vegetable wherever you can. But corn doesn’t count as a vegetable. It does not count in the adviced amount of vegetables a day.

great recipe but don’t be deceived by corn…it’s a grain not a vegetable and should be treated as such. Corn is high in sugar naturally and while it can be consumed in moderation (it definitely has its benefits and contains vitamins), I wouldn’t go crazy with it.

    Anita,
Thank you for sharing that! What you are doing is the exact concept that makes the difference! Crowding out the hunger for one more pancake with plenty of fresh, fiber & nutrient dense fruits (or veggies).

  25. AnitaHavenOctober 28, 2013 at 4:33 pmReply

I make two fruit and cinnamon pancakes (about half the size of yours) and two eggs (done in various ways with a little sea salt) per person. This way my boyfriend and other people think they are eating a lot, but it really isn’t too much and they get a full and healthy break fast.
