Chef john just to let you know, satay is not thai, it’s indonesian. Use kecap manis for your satay

You will not get the fond in the pan with non-stick.
CherikaBadraSeptember 24, 2013 at 10:03 am
you can cook then… you learned 🙂
khoiavoSeptember 24, 2013 at 10:25 am

Mid NuLLSeptember 24, 2013 at 11:09 am
My lady thinks I actually know how to cook because of your channel! What have you done?!
jusuoSeptember 24, 2013 at 12:01 pm
Tried this yesterday. First time since the beginning of Chef John’s channel that I’ve cooked a recipe of his. The gravy was fucking out of this world. Didn’t have chipotle here in Australia so used some cajun seasoning instead. Awesome stuff!

IMKR0September 24, 2013 at 4:39 pm
Couple questions.
1) what chicken stock do you like to use? home made, already made store bought or bouillon stocks?
2) Would it be a good idea to soak the chicken in brine for a while?
BlarpachoSeptember 24, 2013 at 5:11 pm
Wait dont you put in extra butter at the end?
gunnz021September 24, 2013 at 6:09 pm
