I am interested in doing a partially raw vegan diet and your friendly, direct manner is immensely helpful. I have tried to go raw before but found that many raw vegans use expensive juicers, food dehydrators, Vitamixers, and other pricey gadgets. As if that wasn’t bad enough, too many raw food recipes call for using ten to fifteen ingredients – some hard to find! I have kids. I don’t have time to make a big project out of lunch. Going raw should be simple. You are one of few who make it so.

You’re very welcom Jenny. I’m not a raw guy, but I do love your recipes, and the way you explain and teach. You would be a major asset on the Food Network for sure 🙂

Hi Roxanne, so glad you’re enjoying the way I teach! I don’t use a food dehydrator in any of my recipes. You can make some great things with one, but they tend to be complicated. I like to keep things really easy, and there’s so much you can do without a dehydrator, that I don’t use one. Hope that helps!

I lover your teaching method, I have been trying to understand the Raw way for a while with books that have left me unsure, your way is so simple and as a teacher myself I respect that. I will be ordering your books and enrolling in your class. Also do you use a food dehydrator? I bought one but was thinking of sending it back…. should I keep it your thought please… Thank you Roxanne

I have SED I am selective when it comes to food “it must look a certain, way smell a certain way, have a certain colour and taste a certain way” 🙁 ….. so I don’t eat vegetable and no matter what I do I always throw up each time I try to eat it, anyway this is my last try hope it works!

Hi there, Nothing is wrong with the seeds, it just a makes a more pleasing texture for some. If you don’t mind them, they are nutritious so leave them in.

What’s wrong with the seeds? I understand removing the seeds of the pepper, but I usually allow those of tomatoes and cucumbers to remain. Is it just the texture of the seeds that people don’t enjoy?
