I’ve been craving Aloo Gobi for the last couple days. I’ve never tasted, smelt nor seen it in real life only on television and the talk or display of it sets off my taste buds. It’s weird, I know. I’ve been trying to look up on how to make it and theres just so many ingredients and spices (huge fan of spices the hotter the more I love it xD) that I hope I can save enough and find it. In the meantime, I’m trying to watch as many vids on how to make it and find the most simplest to begin with. (:

Asaphoetida is a sulphurous, onion-smelling spice used in Indian cooking. It has an onion-garlic like flavor. So I guess you can substitute it with onion-garlic powder 🙂 Thanks for your lovely feedback and query. Do try it out and let me know how you like it.
