Why do you use the sugar?
Kathy B.December 28, 2013 at 7:38 am
Great video. A few questions: Can I use clam sauce instead of fish sauce?
Once sprouts are in the rice, how much longer to cook? Why use 2 different
kind of soya sauce? Can I just use the dark since it’s all I have? Many
thanks.
Umm KhayreeDecember 28, 2013 at 8:23 am
Ok thanks I was wondering if it gave the rice carmelization good tip.
eromendozDecember 28, 2013 at 9:17 am
Can you write down the ingredients below the video info? I know you said
them all but after you said light soy sauce I could hear the next ones
ilovejordanbryantDecember 28, 2013 at 10:13 am
@LanierDashanae she used light soy sauce and dark soy sauce, both can be
found at any Asian supermarkets. Keep in mind that a little dark soy sauce
goes a long way so you don’t need much at all. People normally just use it
for added color, if you use too much your dish will taste like it lol.. I
am not a fan of using a lot of dark soy. One time I used way too much and
my fried rice tasted like nothing but dark soy, it’s like very condensed
soy sauce… Has a diff taste and smell.

Betty's KitchenDecember 28, 2013 at 9:35 pm
@TheMOstang1 The best way for me to heat leftovers is to line a pan or
baking dish with aluminum foil (enough to cover the top, also). Then spread
the refrgerated or room temperature leftovers in the foil-lined pan. (If
the leftovers are frozen, you need to let them thaw first.) Cover the
aluminum foil over the top. Bake at 350 degrees about 20 to 30 minutes.
Check to see when the leftovers are steaming hot, and remove them from the
oven. You can put several types of leftovers in the same dish.

Wow! . . . now THAT’S what I call a sandwich! 😮 . . . It would take me at
LEAST a half hour to eat all that! *lol* . . . Seriously, thanks Betty . .
. your recipes are great, your husband Rick does a great job of filming
you, and your dog is cute, too! 🙂 All best, Joe
lillady53181December 28, 2013 at 10:41 pm
do you spray the foil so the cheese wont stick? and banana peppers or
something would be good with this.. or a pickle 😀 maybe beef broth or
something to dip it in. last suggestion, with the onion chop up some green
peppers too! 😀 thanks for sharing with us Betty!

mastainventaDecember 29, 2013 at 12:48 am
@bettyskitchen no it isn’t its cos they eat large portions and are too idle
and lazy to get off there back side and work it off. fat people are all
lazy idle and blame it on everything else but being greedy and lazy. i have
huge portions of food like this and weigh 9 stone and im male its just i
get of my back side and work it off. for instance boxers constantly eat and
put the work in to turn it into muscle and stamina
ketastylesDecember 29, 2013 at 1:42 am
OMG if you were my mom i’d be one happy boy this is making me hungry
Betty's KitchenDecember 29, 2013 at 2:42 am
Eating large portions of food like this is why a lot of people weigh more
than they would like. I don’t eat large portions–and I eat a lot of
leftovers! Thanks for your comment! –Betty 🙂

Could you please tell me the best way to handle the leftovers (I was not
sure if it would be best to re-heat it in the oven? If so, how long and at
what degrees etc) Thank you for all your help. (I never know best way to
handle leftovers and definitely want to try this sandwich. Thanks again!

You must have a *big* appetite! Yes, the bread is crisp. If you would like
it less crisp, you could put the pizza sauce directly on the bread and not
brown it off first. Maybe you would like that better… Thanks for your
sweet comment! –Betty 🙂
