    @holymoutain As we mentioned in the video it’s optional. The bean sauce
    imparts particular salty flavor so you might just add a touch more fish
    sauce to make up for it.

    @NSarge87 Another problem is that since we made the first series of videos
    5 years ago my daughter has gotten married and has moved away. She does
    visit on vacation but we can no longer count on her. I could probably
    appear at the end tasting the food but I would have to have my hair and
    makeup done. I’m getting older

    Ive seen some Thai restaurants that had the sliced chilies in a fish sauce.
    Is that the same thing as the prik dong or is it different? Are they just
    variations on the same idea?

    @egeefay I understand. But I still feel that seeing the face of the chef
    adds to the video. We would love to see you taste the food at the end, even
    if you didn’t have makeup on. Older just means wiser and we would trust
    your cooking even more.
