Please make a video on how to make KHAO PIAK & KHAO POON… (don’t know if
that’s the spelling) I’m Filipino & married a Lao guy. Trying to make his
food.

Love this dish. Thanks for sharing. I love all of ur videos 🙂
egeefayFebruary 9, 2014 at 10:20 am
@holymoutain As we mentioned in the video it’s optional. The bean sauce
imparts particular salty flavor so you might just add a touch more fish
sauce to make up for it.

@NSarge87 Another problem is that since we made the first series of videos
5 years ago my daughter has gotten married and has moved away. She does
visit on vacation but we can no longer count on her. I could probably
appear at the end tasting the food but I would have to have my hair and
makeup done. I’m getting older

looks great!!!

Ive seen some Thai restaurants that had the sliced chilies in a fish sauce.
Is that the same thing as the prik dong or is it different? Are they just
variations on the same idea?

Wow, I’m so impressed. I love that you give explanations on how to
improvise based on what is available at different markets.

Thanx for sharing this wonderful video. I learned great deal. Now I can
cook my own Pad See Ew.
NSarge87February 9, 2014 at 4:54 pm
@egeefay I understand. But I still feel that seeing the face of the chef
adds to the video. We would love to see you taste the food at the end, even
if you didn’t have makeup on. Older just means wiser and we would trust
your cooking even more.
