    Fillet is pronounced “fill-it” and filet is pronounced “fill-ay”. The words essentially mean the same thing and can be used interchangably, one is english based and the other french.

    Here in the Arab world we grill meat a lot but we do not add salt to it before grilling cause it would get harder “sorry can’t find the right word for it” so it’s best to add it after grilling
