The Philippine recipe is more like coconut + starch + fruits. The starch
used are rice, sago palm starch, cassava, sweet potato, purple yam
(dioscorea alata), taro. The fruits used are ripe plantain and jackfruit.
Yam is genus dioscorea, sweet potato is genus ipomoea.
