Round steak cut up makes good beef stew meat cause round steak usually
needs to be cooked long time to be tender. I cut that up for stew when its
on sale! Great Video! We eat beef stew once a week so love see others take
    on it.

Would this work with water rather than adding the beef stock? This looks
    tasty.

a suggestion Put the flour, spices etc in a large zip lock bag..shake, take
the meat out throw in the cast iron pan. throw away the extra, much easier.

Could I make this in a slow cooker? (brown the meat first).

This looks delicious , I didn’t know they used all different cuts of meat
in beef stew meat. I thought they just cut up a pot roast. The weather is
perfect for beef stew , going to make this soon ,I love your recipes thanks

I love all your cooking videos. I learn something new in each one as
everyone does things a little bit different. And who knows, someone else’s
“recipe” might just be better than the one you are using. LOL I only
measure specifically when it comes to baking. Everything else is just
eyeballed when cooking. I love beef stew and never thought about browning
off the meat as we have always just used leftovers to make it.

I wanted to reach into the screen and grab a spoonful. I could almost smell
    it! Terrific video.

Where I live a good steak is cheaper per pound than stew meat. Do you ever
add water to your frypan and glean the drippings, etc.? Also, gelatin is a
pork product. I cannot eat pork products. I actually have had success with
just gleaning the drippings from the frypay and getting a wonderful stew.
Also, bay leaf seasons beef very well. I appreciate all of your craft
videos and prepper videos. You have a lot of great ideas!

During a storm in New york, I’ve baked Noreens Pumpkin Muffins with Strusle
topping. Noreens Pumpkin Pie with my Own Pie crust, Noreens Woppie Pies and
Katz Shortbread Pecan cookies and crustless coconut pie…What a delicous
way to wait out a storm…MMMMM and they were all made with food storage
items. People BE PREPARED. I was the only one who didnt have to run to a
grocery store to spend 6 hours on a line of people who were not prepared.
NOREEN & KAT, GREAT RECIPIES. Thanks,

My 7 year old summed it up best ” Miss Noreen is making me have the
hungries!” He has now embarked on a campiagn to have me make some “just
like hers!” lol! I’m caving, off to retrieve a pack of stew beef from the
    freezer to defrost! Thanks!

  20. gittoworkNovember 17, 2013 at 4:45 pmReply

i found a new favorite channel. i dont have to wait to go home when my mom
cooks beef stew anymore. ditto to what castro0309 posted below.

About the neighbor: You appreciate their love for animals but Spooky needs
a special diet or he has tummy problems. So please don’t feed him, that way
you know he is getting what he needs. Agree with the person above, he is
    big time food whore….

He is exactly what you say! We call him a savant. Can’t figure out how to
get into the catbox, but can ( and I’m not kidding) open a doorknob! I
haven’t tried the mackerel. I will do that. I have one girl who has anxiety
issues. She was scratching herself raw with all kinds of scabs. She does
not go outside and doesn’t have a flea problem. We started her on tuna with
a squirt of some hemp oil as well as a fish oil capsule. Within a week she
was healthy and beautiful! No scabs!
