it’s a good version of salsa, in mexico we boil the tomatoes, or roasted
Swapnil GuptaDecember 21, 2013 at 7:38 am
thank u for the recipe! how long can we store this salsa??
SonicBoomC98December 21, 2013 at 8:09 am
They don’t lie. I have never liked jar or bottled salsa. It all takes like
crap to me.
tekobariDecember 21, 2013 at 8:47 am
Go ahead–add the black pepper. Its taste is very different from that of
chiles. In fact, each kind of chile/pepper has its own flavor. I like to
mix them. I’m going to try this. I’ve never used tomato sauce in my salsa
before, but it looked pretty and the Mexican one will add good flavor. And
I’ve never used garlic or salt before. This is going to be totally new for
me. Thanks for the recipe!

@SanShaain Thank you! We’re glad you are enjoying our show.

Nice recipe, but you didnt add the most integral ingredient: Garlic. There
really is no fresh salsa without a clove of fresh garlic, or at the very
least, garlic powder. I still love your recipes and cook them all the time
🙂

Justin Bieber would die if he ate spicy salsa
Shaheeda AbdullahDecember 21, 2013 at 11:43 am
Aw man, I just made this as I was watching this video. I haven’t had salsa
like this in 6 1/2 years. This guy was working at El Chico, and he made a
very mean salsa. We came back a few weeks later, and he no longer worked
there 🙁 Thanks a heap!
kolgibson89December 21, 2013 at 12:25 pm
Always add a pinch of sugar to salsa. It cuts the acidity of the tomato 🙂

Roma tomatoes are the key. They have a lower moisture content than regular
tomatoes. Awesome video, Thank You!
SonicBoomC98December 21, 2013 at 1:50 pm
I use the sause when I did but only because my food processor isn’t
working, and I had to make it with a few pulses in the blender. It was
thick but kind of pinkish. I used it to give it the redness back.
6771RandyDecember 21, 2013 at 1:54 pm
No, but romas have less juice.

hey girls, I have just found you here on youtube and I like ALL your
recipes, it’s exactly the type of food I simply love! and obviously you are
not native speakers but your English is excellent! hat off! so I learned
with you some new vocab as well (I’m not a native either :)) anyways, keep
on this great job!
SonicBoomC98December 21, 2013 at 3:42 pm
Do you only roast the tomatoes? I’ve been seeing many roast the peppers and
garlic as well lately
enlargemediaDecember 21, 2013 at 4:02 pm
Is this pico de gallo salsa?
InsanitYinBloodDecember 21, 2013 at 4:26 pm
Is tomato sauce mandatory..
