We eat a lot of bean salad, chickpea salad with simple Lemon/lime dressing
(most of the time.) I will pm you some of my salad recipes. I am sure you
can find a few companies who deliver Indian spices to your area. I always
pick up mine from our local grocery store.

should be around 10-12 mins in this case. You can check in between..not too
often though otherwise steam that is needed to cook rice will escape. white
rice will take only 7-8 mins.

This sounds delicious..can you eat the curry leaves in the rice or are they
for flavor only?

Thank you. Most people eat it. It’s a personal choice. I don’t mind them
especially when they are dried crushed (It’s just like some people
preferring to eat pickle, some not)
