Chili, jello, casseroles, peanut butter — all these things could be used
to punish people in France. They will not eat it, nor eggs for breakfast,
meatloaf, and most of them have never eaten Asiatic food nor anything from
McDonald’s, but the latter is a good thing. My father in law has never had
a hamburger in his life. He was born in the ’30s. Beside all that, very
good video, uprated, I enjoyed it. They don’t sell grape jelly here,
either. I cannot figure it out.

looks good JB, with adding noodles you basically made a spicy spaghetti
sauce ! lol up here we eat chilli in a bowl by itself, maybe a some cheese
and always beans ! haha great vid !!

@007bondjb If you really want to horrify a French person, give them a
Reese’s cup! They consider “our” chocolate so vile, and peanut butter so
unhealthy (which it is, but that is another story) it is a riot! I think
the French penal system is really missing out by not forcing incorrigibles
to eat a lot of Jell-O! Instead of traffic tickets, they should make
offenders eat it daily, observed. That’ll fix their wagons! Oh, next, stuff
a bbq chicken and get them to eat that if you can!

@007bondjb The best jams, jellies and preserves ever, but they are also
good in Turkey, but no grape! I guess they keep those for wine only? It
took me years to find peanut butter here and then I found it in a can from
Alsace at 8 dollars, this was in the ’90s! They just will not eat peanut
butter here and I repeat, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with chili,
jello, a casserole, this could be used to correct prisoners here! Go
figure. Nutty country, also could not find ketchup here!

@007bondjb I use cream style red beans in my venison chili. Thin it out
    with V-8 juice.

YUMMMmmm looks good JB. I have a suggestion for you 🙂 Smoke some beef
ribs and then make a chili from that…cook it gentle for a loooong time
till the meat shreds by it self..BOY that is good!

OH LORD! I am so GLAD ya didn’t put no damned beans in that chilli! When I
want a bowl of chilli, I DON’T want a bowl of beans with SOME chilli mixed
in it. Just a personal prefrence thing y’all. This may sound nuts, but I
like my dogs grilled till the skin is like a golden brown and some parts
are burnt black. Put some polish mustard and diced raw onions on 4 to 6 of
’em and don’t talk to me ’cause ya ain’t gonna get no answer till I’m done
    eatin’. HA!

Hey JB I’ve been looking into making my own bread and pizza. Do you have
any recommendation for a website / discussion forum for that? Also, you
have a lot of pizza videos! Any one in particular you think I should watch
first to get the know how on how to make pizza? Thanks

    @CuteCatFaith No jelly? That sucks

  17. ZombiedustXXXNovember 25, 2013 at 3:13 pmReply

@ZombiedustXXX Almost forgot…if you can get whole cumin seeds, and blend
them up in a coffee grinder, you get more of a fresh burst of flavor and
aroma! You’ll never go back to the pre-ground stuff.

No beans, YAAAY! I like the recipe and oven idea. Hey JB, one thing you
might want to try for another kickass tasting chili, is using chili pods
instead of powder. Tear up some dry chili pods (New Mexico and pasilla are
good), pour out the seeds. Boil the pod pieces for two minutes and cover
the pan to let the chilis soften. Toss the softened chilis in a blender,
and add just enough of the water so the whole thing blends up smooth. then
add it to the meat. Yum and rich tasting.

ICS Chilihead #5600 checking in JB! There are so many ways to cook up a
great pot of ‘red’ and for sure I can’t pass up trying them all. Damn cool
roller dog cooker ya got there! Have you ever seen those dog electrocution
cookers? Had one in the early 70s. It had a tray where ya place the dog
with each end on a metal spike, plug it in and just like a little electric
chair it made you some Frankendogs! Leave on too long and the dogs exploded!
