    This is definitely not the Indian Style… 100% english version of the
    Indian Chicken Curry. We mostly use vegetable oil, or sunflower oil. We
    never cut onions that big, its usually thinly sliced so it cooks faster and
    doesn’t look separate from the gravy. We fry the spices in the oil first,
    so the oil gets the flavour from the spices. But anyways, this is a good
    recipe…. but just not close to the authentic version.

    I am an Indian, this is not an authentic dish.. Never seen anyone cook or
    eat this!!!! Lemon juice curd n spices should be added then it would have
    been great !! Tomatoes optional !!

    Actually you can rinse the ginger root with water to wash away the mud, and
    use the back of your knife or a metallic spoon to scratch off the skin of
    it quite easily. This saves a lot and creates less rubbish. 🙂

    You can put the cloves and kardamom in a teabag for loose teas, so they’re
    easier to remove when you’re done!

    Yes curry powder is 100 % Indian and we never use olive oil in our Indian
    cooking.

    You never olive oil or black pepper in our indian cooking if curry chicken
    this is an English indian version.

    hi ! I am an INDIAN and would like to say that you should never make
    chicken curry with chicken breast becoz for the taste you should use
    chicken with bones. ENJOY!
