Hi, excellent video. I love trying new recipies so I’m going to have a go
at making this today! Just one question though. The garlic and chilli
sauce, is it just a pouring sauce that you’d pour over chips for example or
is it more like a paste? There’s a fantastic Asian supermarket in my local
town of Keighley called Shans (I think that’s the name!) and I’m sure
they’ll stock something suitable! Cheers, Ben

@TheBopha20 You can try if you like vinegar, but it won’t taste as good as
    lime juice.

@GreekVegetarianRecip You do need to boil everything together (medium heat)
until it forms a little bubble over the surface, turn it off and let it
cool before mixing it with lime juice and garlic mixture – boiling is good
for the tummy and lasts longer in the fridge (a few weeks). Thanks.

I’m sorry but how much sugar should you use for the mixture of water and
    fish sauce?

I’ve never heard of that or seen how it was made. The smell of fish sauce
when cook is kind of smelly to most foreigners, but to the Vietnamese it’s
quite opposite. On the other hand, to some Vietnamese cheese is really
stinky. So it is something you grow up with or getting used to. Fish sauce
is the main ingredient in Vietnamese cooking.

Cool, thanks for that. I’ll have a look out for it next time I’m there. I
made it with a pouring chilli and garlic sauce and it was delicious. My
girlfriend can’t get enough of it mixed in with egg noodles! Cheers again,
    Ben

Thanks for trying my recipe. No, it’s more like in between a paste and a
chili Mexican Hot sauce. You can get it at any Asian market. It’s called
Chili Garlic Sauce or Tuong Ot Toi Viet Nam (a Rooster Brand).

I am from Phan Thiet, there nobody uses lime or lemon in their fish
