I saw another video about precooked sausage patties being cooked in the
waffle iron, cini buns, and why brownies are a bad idea. I expected more
from this video, but it’s a clear demonstration. Personally, I’d wipe that
side with a damp cloth right away before it burned, but I’m OCD like that

What make and model is the waffle maker that the belgium one is made of?
and where can I buy it? Did you spray or grease the surface before you
poured on the batter? Don’t let the other comments deter you.. no one is
perfect.

Generally speaking, one should never use metal utensils on non-stick
surfaces. Unless, of course, they want to buy new waffle makers. However,
if the waffle maker is made of cast iron (as many that we sell are), you
can use metal utensils on them all day long. The moral of the story? If you
insist on using metal utensils, get a cast iron waffle maker.
