why is it called CHICKEN fried steak and you dont even use chicken meat ?i
dont get it? Can you just called it beef fried steak?

its chicken fried steak because of how you cook the steak. Fried chicken
recipe, but with steak as the protein instead of chicken. Hope that helps!

You must have made it wrong then. I don’t consider it the same as
traditional chicken fried steak, but it is still an awesome recipe. In
latino households we call it bistec empanizado which just means breaded
steak. I didn’t know people considered it chicken fried steak until looking
    online.
