ochikeronDecember 31, 2013 at 8:32 am
i have a question! when and where do you find those new kind of foods from
the world!? i never knew this drink 😀
Lyndsay WellsDecember 31, 2013 at 9:12 am
That looks so nice! Your cat is sweet to 🙂 My current favourite milk is
Almond milk in the dark chocolate flavour – just delicious!
Jay del CorroDecember 31, 2013 at 9:51 am
The technique is a lot like making nut milk. If I were to do it again, I
would blend the rice mixture after it’s sat overnight, then strain it.
Then, you could mix it with almond milk.

Horchata is a delicious refreshing drink found throughout Latin America.
Beautiful legacy inherited from our Spaniard roots.

The original recipe is from Valencia, Spain and is made from “chufas”,
(they are a kind of tubercle)
elpaks90December 31, 2013 at 1:34 pm
Came to say that, I haven’t tried it yet, but the eggs with the green sauce
seems very tasty
heartheomenDecember 31, 2013 at 2:15 pm
o and these toppings also apply to bootleged mexican hamburger with
guacamole and beans lol, and by the way burritos are one of the least
popular foods in mexico as mexican food, they became famous in the US.
MultiCulturalCookingDecember 31, 2013 at 2:47 pm

patricia duranDecember 31, 2013 at 3:21 pm

Linda GuerreroDecember 31, 2013 at 4:14 pm

clusterflufffDecember 31, 2013 at 5:14 pm
This is very similar to Texas-style migas, except the salsa is added at the
end. Still delicious, though. Thanks, Chef John!
patricia duranDecember 31, 2013 at 5:25 pm
Or chilquiles gringos 😉
RockyBalboa211December 31, 2013 at 6:20 pm

Carolina SifuentesDecember 31, 2013 at 7:15 pm

too bad
AlAhzab36December 31, 2013 at 8:32 pm
These are so not Mexican chilaquiles, but if you like them that’s what
matters. Try to make the salsa yourself, it is easier than making lemonade.
Green tomatoes, jalapeño peppers, half an onion, 1 garlic, salt to taste.
Cook them all together (no need for water) and put in blender. Or you could
roast all in oven and then put in blender.
vilageidoit29December 31, 2013 at 8:46 pm
Where is this restaurant you went to?! I want to go to there!
genarolugardomedinaDecember 31, 2013 at 9:21 pm
No, a dog would die if they eat this kind of food, but if you got a
hangover , it will revive you…I know it for a fact…
twodaluDecember 31, 2013 at 10:07 pm
To make an easy salsa: Boil 4 med ripe tomatoes and two jalapenos and 1
clove garlic for about 10 min (the jal. will get a translucent skin. Okay,
drain all but 1/2 cut hot water and blend for just about 1 min. (will look
more red than that jar stuff but have the same consistency). The taste will
be much fresher and not like vinegary. Enjoy,
muugdhaBDecember 31, 2013 at 10:52 pm

lol im pretty shure white people would complain on the way that they make
mexican pizzas in mexico, they put beans, and jalapenos, salsa and other
toppings like guacamole. chorizo(mexican sausage), and as far as i know
most mexican people i know always eat pizza and some popcorn with salsa
valentina (sauce similar looking to tabasco but way different in taste).
