Hi chef john, i just wonder what type of this bun called. Is it a brioche
hamburger bun or something. Can you list me several type of bun that we can
use to make my hamburger bun? Thanks in advance !

Can you make this without the counter top mixer?

Made the buns yesterday. I goofed a little and added the olive oil to the
dough mix. Oops. They still came out delicious. From now on it will be
these buns in this house. Question: If less yeast were added, would the
results be more like an Italian bread consistency? I am a novice at bread
making and have been making all types of artisan breads, but the rolls are
the BEST. I’ll definitely stick to the original recipe, without adding
the olive oil to the dough. Thanks a bunch for a great hamburger bun or
sandwich roll. Either application makes the sandwich extra special.
    Thanks again, Pete

Wtf who have prepared this breakfast? An English? Cause I’m sorry but I’m
reaaaaaally French and the typical French breakfast is just coffee,
baguette, bakeries (croissants, pains au chocolat), butter, marmalade and
orange juice! CHEEESE why the duck do you choose this like a component of
French breakfast! And creps? No please and maple syrup is not French, it’s
    Canadian!

  18. 202wolvesDecember 10, 2013 at 12:07 pmReply

damn, those french know how to eat! looks good! no wonder those lost both
world wars, with food like that i’d be distracted too!

  19. Marie FoolDecember 10, 2013 at 12:23 pmReply

Lol I have to say that this French breakfast looks delicious but maple
syrup is rather more of a Canadian tradition

cheese for breakfast?? are you serious???!! i’m french and nobody here do
that, cheese is for lunch & dinner’s end.. breakfast is always sweet, no
salt, just bread, jam, butter, croissants, coffee and fruits juice 🙂

  23. IglooDwellerDecember 10, 2013 at 2:09 pmReply

What does it mean to simmer? You turn off the heat?

  24. Galatasaray AtaturkDecember 10, 2013 at 2:33 pmReply

    french break feast looks good

  25. HitMeQuickDecember 10, 2013 at 2:42 pmReply

@IsabeauDuBeaufogre That’s because instead of taking breakfast your average
Parisian is chain smoking and powdering their ball sacks in the mirror.

  28. andrea prodestDecember 10, 2013 at 4:51 pmReply

There’s no cheese in French breakfast. It ‘s all sweet. Similar to the
    Italian

  29. CuteCatFaithDecember 10, 2013 at 4:56 pmReply

French food varies tremendously by region, but I have lived in Paris and
have a place in Brittany for about 20 years, and if you offer cheese for
breakfast, which I adore but eat alone, no one wants it. This being said,
this looks like a fine repast! I’ve had American guests who asked for a
full breakfast here and it threw everyone else off for the day, they were
so disgusted. It’s pretty much just bread, butter, and sweet coffee here,
with hot milk maybe. Crêpes are not eaten that often.

Hi! Simmer means to leave on the lowest heat. Give it a try and let us know
    how it goes.
