Excellent presentation. Done that with chicken and turkey. Also try a large
CAN of Dinty Moore beef stew for a great beef pot pie. Premium Albacore
tuna in place of chicken is also very good. Experimenting is great fun.

Yum! Looks good. Do you have the proportions for the sauce? I was a little
surprised since you’re in the south that you didn’t make a roux.

That’s kinda, sorta what this is. Just with onions first. Pretty good
stuff!

I’m not quite sure what a roux is, but sounds good! I was a little vague on
this video because I plan to write a article on hubpages about it, sorry!
Around 1/2c of onion cooked with 3 tablespoons of butter, that entire can
of chicken broth, and about half a can of milk. Add about 1/3 to 1/2c of
flour and you should be good to go. I cook by eye and taste, so those are
approximate measurements. I never follow a recipe exactly. We all have our
flaws. haha! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Same with me. Recipe is a starting point. A roux is flour and butter cooked
together first and then will thicken any liquid added to it. More prevalent
in the south.
