    This is by no way an authentic satay recipe. Maybe a Thai chicken satay but
    definitely not what we have in Singapore and Malaysia. Personally, I think
    the authentic ones are either in Singapore or Malaysia or even Indonesia as
    this is a traditional Malay dish. And no. We don’t use fish sauce in the
    peanut mixture.

    Satay has always been a street food in Thailand 🙂 I ear them while I was
    growing up in Bangkok 35 years ago

    I think the video should be retitled to Authentic Thai Chicken Satay with
    Peanut Sauce. This is not to confuse viewers. The Indonesians, Malaysians
    and Singaporeans have their own authentic versions.

    satay is very common in south east asia.. Thailand, malaysia, singapore,
    indonesia.
