Hi Bhavna! I can’t find curry leaves anywhere…would the flavor be the same if I added curry powder? And what is black split gram?

  43. grabotteSeptember 24, 2013 at 10:26 pmReply

Miammm (yumm in french) ! Just a question: it’s long to fry… how can I keep the first vadas hot ??… Thank you for your answer

  44. blessall4everSeptember 24, 2013 at 11:10 pmReply

i can’t get the bread you’re using, so i did it with a brown whole wheat bread yesterday. Had to substitute shredded cauliflower for corn too. The crust of the bread was too hard to form decent balls, it kept popping up. so i made them longish like spring rolls, which worked out nicely.
My husband is not too fond of potato fillings, but i am. But yesterday i got only 1 out of 6 yummy rolls to eat! He munched them all away in one sitting. Great recipe, Bhavna! Thanks a lot!:)
